Panetta admits Iran NOT developing Nukes
January 8, 2012 — US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta let slip on Sunday the big open secret that Washington war hawks don't want widely known: Iran is not developing nuclear weapons.
Appearing on CBS's Face the Nation on Sunday, Panetta admitted that despite all the rhetoric, Iran is not pursuing the ability to split atoms with weapons, saying it is instead pursuing "a nuclear capability." Full story: youtube.com
How to Start a War: The American Use of War Pretext Incidents
January 9, 2012 — With regard to the confrontation in the Persian Gulf, is the Obama administration prepared to sacrifice the Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain as a means to create public outrage and drum up support for a war on Iran on the grounds of self-defense. [Why not? One time Secretary of State Sir Henry Kissinger declared: "Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy" - Ed].
Throughout history, war planners have used various forms of deception to trick their enemies. Because public support is so crucial to the process of initiating and waging war, the home population is also subject to deceitful stratagems. The creation of false excuses to justify going to war is a major first step in constructing public support for such deadly ventures. Perhaps the most common pretext for war is an apparently unprovoked enemy attack. Such attacks, however, are often fabricated, incited or deliberately allowed to occur. They are then exploited to arouse widespread public sympathy for the victims, demonize the attackers and build mass support for military "retaliation."
Like schoolyard bullies who shout 'He hit me first!', war planners know that it is irrelevant whether the opponent really did 'throw the first punch.' As long as it can be made to appear that the attack was unprovoked, the bully receives license to 'respond' with force. Bullies and war planners are experts at taunting, teasing and threatening their opponents. If the enemy cannot be goaded into 'firing the first shot,' it is easy enough to lie about what happened. Time to Attack Iran
January/February 2012 — In early October, US officials accused Iranian operatives of planning to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States on American soil [known round the world, except to the credulous, as a BIG LIE - Ed]. Iran denied the charges, but the episode has already managed to increase tensions between Washington and Tehran. Although the Obama administration has not publicly threatened to retaliate with military force, the allegations have underscored the real and growing risk that the two sides could go to war sometime soon—particularly over Iran's advancing nuclear program [another BIG LIE - Ed]. . . Comment: It is probable the US Rescue of an Iranian Ship held by Pirates in the Strait of Hormuz is yet another BIG LIE with the US, UK, Iran, Japan, and Australian navies patrolling. This article by Pentagon defence analyst Matthew Kroenig in the current Council of Foreign Relations magazine is as crazy as the membership who front for the 'hidden hand' that rules the United States, selects its presidents, and staffs many senior positions of dual citizens in its Administration, bureaucracy, educational institutions and businesses. The CFR is bluffing! Even the Pentagon's own war simulations have shown that a war in the Persian Gulf with Iran would spell disaster for the United States and its military. One key example is the Millennium Challenge 2002 (MC02) war game in the Persian Gulf, which was conducted from July 24, 2002 to August 15, 2002 and took almost two years to prepare. This mammoth drill was amongst the largest and most expensive war games ever held by the Pentagon. MC02 was held shortly after the Pentagon had decided that it would continue the momentum of the war in Afghanistan by targeting Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, and finishing off with the big prize of Iran in a broad military campaign to ensure US primacy in the new millennium.
After MC02 was finished, the war game was "officially" presented as a simulation of a war against Iraq under the rule of President Saddam Hussein, but in actuality these war games pertained to Iran. The US had already made assessments for the upcoming Anglo-American invasion of Iraq. Moreover, Iraq had no naval capabilities that would merit such large-scale use of the US Navy.
MC02 was conducted to simulate a war with Iran, which was codenamed "Red" and referred to an unknown Middle Eastern rogue enemy state in the Persian Gulf. Other than Iran, no other country could meet the perimeters and characteristics of "Red" and its military forces, from the patrol boats to the motorcycle units. The war simulation took place because Washington was planning on attacking Iran soon after invading Iraq in 2003.
The scenario in the 2002 war game started with the US, codenamed "Blue," giving Iran a one-day ultimatum to surrender in the year 2007. The war game's date of 2007 would chronologically correspond to US plans to attack Iran after the Israeli attack on Lebanon in 2006, which was to extend, according to military plans, into a broader war against Syria. The war against Lebanon, however, did not go as planned and the US and Israel realized that if Hezbollah could challenge them in Lebanon then an expanded war with Syria and Iran would be a disaster.
In MC02's war scenario, Iran would react to US aggression by launching a massive barrage of missiles that would overwhelm the US and destroy sixteen US naval vessels—an aircraft carrier, ten cruisers, and five amphibious ships. It is estimated that if this had happened in real war theatre context, more than 20,000 US servicemen would have been killed in the first day following the attack.
Next, Iran would send its small patrol boats—the ones that look insignificant in comparison to the USS John C. Stennis and other large US warships—to overwhelm the remainder of the Pentagon's naval forces in the Persian Gulf, which would result in the damaging and sinking of most of the US Fifth Fleet and the defeat of the United States. After the US defeat, the war games were started over again, but "Red" (Iran) had to operate under the assumption of handicaps and shortcomings, so that US forces would be allowed to emerge victorious from the drill. This outcome of the war games obviated the fact that the US would have been overwhelmed in the context of a real conventional war with Iran in the Persian Gulf.
Hence, the formidable naval power of Washington is handicapped both by geography as well as Iranian military capabilities when it comes to fighting in the Persian Gulf or even in much of the Gulf of Oman. Full story: globalresearch.ca

Officially, America is now bankrupt: financially, economically, politically – and morally. Terminally in debt, mass poverty at record levels, rampant militarism, draconian curbs on civil liberties, government by the rich for the rich, and lately the reactionary, debased cat-fight that passes for political debate among Republican contenders for the Presidency. Cringing is the sight of super wealthy career politicians throwing sand in each other's eyes to scrabble up the pole for yet further personal accumulation of capital; disturbing is the easy way that psychopathic targeting of imagined enemies whether at home or abroad is worn like a badge of honour. It is a sign of how depraved the American political mind has become when would-be presidents can so openly talk of conducting foreign policy in terms of unquestioned international aggression. THE WAR ON IRAN: The Deployment of Thousands of US Troops to Israel, The Integration of US-Israeli Command Structures

January 4, 2012 — The Islamic Republic of Iran has been threatened with military action by the US and its allies for the last eight years. "Roughly 40 percent of the world's oil tanker shipments transit the strait daily, carrying 15.5 million barrels of Saudi, Iraqi, Iranian, Kuwaiti, Bahraini, Qatari and United Arab Emirates crude oil, leading the United States Energy Information Administration to label the Strait of Hormuz "the world's most important oil chokepoint." The Globalization of War and the Demise of the American Republic Last week [11-18 December], Lt.-Gen. Frank Gorenc, commander of the US's Third Air Force based in Germany, visited Israel to finalize plans for the upcoming drill, expected to see the deployment of several thousand American soldiers in Israel. (US commander visits Israel to finalize missile, Jerusalem Post December 21, 2011 emphasis added) These war games involve the testing of Israel's air defense system, which is now fully integrated into the US global missile detection system, following the installation (December 2008) of a new sophisticated X-band early warning radar system. "The US will also bring its THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) and ship-based Aegis ballistic missile defense systems to Israel to simulate the interception of missile salvos against Israel. Integrated US-NATO-Israel Command Structures "Across the world, a dangerous rumor has spread that could have catastrophic implications. According to legend, Iran's President has threatened to destroy Israel, or, to quote the misquote, "Israel must be wiped off the map". Contrary to popular belief, this statement was never made." Who wants to "wipe Israel off the Map"? Tehran or Washington? Ahmadinejad or Obama? In actual fact, the Obama administration as well as the Netanyahu government indelibly constitute a threat to the people of Israel.
Iran has been involved in war games in the Persian Gulf. The US Navy is deployed. Iran's naval exercises which commenced on December 24th were conducted in an area which is patrolled by the US Fifth Fleet, based in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, a new round of economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran has been unleashed, largely targeting Iran's Central Bank, leading to a dramatic plunge of Iran's currency.
Reacting to US threats, Iran declared that it would consider blocking the shipment of oil through the Strait of Hormuz:
There is a symbiotic relationship between War and the Economic Crisis.
The planning of the Iran war is being carried out at the crossroads of a worldwide economic depression, which is conducive to widening social inequalities, mass unemployment and the impoverishment of large sectors of the world population.
Crushing social movements on the domestic front —including all forms of resistance to America's military agenda and its neoliberal economic policies— is an integral part of the United States' hegemonic role Worldwide.
Does Constitutional Government in the eyes of the Obama Administration constitute an encroachment to "The Globalization of War"?
History tells us that an Empire cannot be built on the political foundations of a Republic.
In this regard, it should come as no surprise that the new Iran sanctions regime adopted by the US Congress became law on New Year's Eve, December 31st, on the same day Obama signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA 2012), which suspends civil liberties and allows for the "Indefinite Detention of Americans". The Obama administration is intent upon crushing both social dissent as well as antiwar protest. The American Republic is incompatible with America's "long war." What is required is the instatement of a "democratic dictatorship," a de facto military rule in civilian clothes.
Thousands of Troops to Israel
Advanced war preparations are ongoing. Barely mentioned by the Western media, although confirmed by Israeli press reports, the Pentagon is preparing to send several thousand US troops to Israel.
In the context of ongoing war preparations, these troops are slated to participate in joint US-Israeli military maneuvers in Spring 2012, described by the Jerusalem Post as "the largest-ever missile defense exercise in [Israel's] history." (emphasis added)
The US global missile detection system includes satellites, Aegis ships in the Mediterranean, Persian Gulf and Red Sea as well as land-based Patriot radars and interceptors. In the context of planning the US-Israel Spring war games:
The American systems will work in conjunction with Israel's missile defense systems—the Arrow, Patriot and Iron Dome.
Gorenc came to Israel for talks with Brig.-Gen. Doron Gavish, commander of the Air Force's Air Defense Division.
He toured one of the Iron Dome batteries in the South and the Israel Test Bed lab in Holon where the IAF holds its interception simulation exercises.
The IAF is planning to deploy a fourth battery of the Iron Dome counter-rocket system in the coming months and is mulling the possibility of stationing it in Haifa to protect oil refineries located there.
The Defense Ministry has allocated a budget to manufacture an additional three Iron Dome batteries by the end of 2012. IAF operational requirements call for the deployment of about a dozen batteries along Israel's northern and southern borders.
The IAF is also moving forward with plans to deploy Rafael's David's Sling missile defense system, which is designed to defend against medium-range rockets and cruise missiles. Rafael recently completed a series of successful navigation and flight tests of the David's Sling's interceptor and plans to hold the first interception test by mid-2012. Pursuant to these joint US-Israel games, there are indications that the US is also planning to increase the number of American troops stationed in Israel.
Moreover, these military exercises planned for next Spring are accompanied by a fundamental shift in US-NATO-Israel command structures.
What is now unfolding at Washington's behest is an integration of US-Israel military command structures.
Washington is not a reluctant partner, as some observers have suggested, "with the Obama administration attempting to distance itself" from an Israeli sponsored war on Iran. Quite the opposite!
Given the integration of Israel's air defense system into that of the US, Israel cannot, under any circumstances, wage a war on Iran without the US. Moreover, since mid-2005, following the signing of a protocol between NATO and Tel Aviv, Israel has become a de facto member of the Atlantic Alliance.
The Pentagon calls the shots. The planned deployment of US troops in Israel is part and parcel of a US sponsored war.
In the context of the Spring 2012 military drills, the United States military will establish Command Posts in Israel. In turn, Israel's IDF will establish Command Posts at United States European Command headquarters (EUCOM), in Stuttgart, Germany. (Ibid).
The ultimate objective of these command posts is to establish "joint [US-Israeli] task forces in the event of a large-scale conflict in the Middle East", (Ibid). In other words, these task forces will be involved in planning the deployment of troops and weapons systems directed against Iran, with Israel playing an important role as a launchpad for military action.
What these developments suggest is that the war on Iran—which has been on the drawing board of the Pentagon since 2003—will involve the direct participation of Israel under a unified US military command.
The people of Israel are the unspoken victims of America's global military agenda as well their own government's war plans directed against Iran.
They are led to believe that Iran possesses nuclear weapons when in fact Israel possesses an advanced nuclear arsenal, which is directed against Iran.
The people of Israel as well as Western public opinion, more generally, are also led to believe that Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants "to Wipe Israel off the Map," when in fact this statement was concocted by the Western media, as a means of demonizing the Iranian head of state as well as presenting Iran as a threat to the security of Israel.
Tehran has since 2005 warned that it will retaliate if attacked, in the form of ballistic missile strikes directed against Israel as well as against US military facilities in the Persian Gulf, which would immediately lead us into a scenario of military escalation.
This war would engulf a region extending from the Mediterranean to the heartland of Central Asia. It would have devastating consequences, resulting in a massive loss of life.
It would precipitate humanity into a World War III scenario.
Comment: These threatening exercises in Israel are scheduled for Spring 2012 in which Passover (followed by the Week of Unleavened Bread and Pentecost), and this year Nisan 14 coincides with the Judaeo-Catholic "Good Friday."
Turkey's Erdogan is Jewish
The soured relationship with Israel and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's tough line with the Jewish state are all part of a façade to deceive the Turkish public, former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan has claimed. . . the 84-year-old leader of the Felicity Party (SP) criticized the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), saying it is in the hands of the worldwide Zionist movement. He implied that the rise of the AK Party was helped by the international Jewish conspiracy and vowed that he will fight back to stem the Zionist grip on the neck of Turkey. . .
Erbakan says: "Why on earth did Erdogan's AK Party give a 'go ahead' to the membership of Israel in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and not block membership? "Why did the Turkish government consent to multi-billion dollars worth of defense contracts with Israeli firms?

On August 6 2011, The Economist reported on a Moslem who is friendly towards Israel. (The Turkish model A Hard Act to follow). This Moslem reportedly has links to heroin. . . "These days the religious teacher who wields most influence over the Turks is Fethullah Gulen," says The Economist. In 2010, nine Turks, taking supplies to Gaza, were killed by Israeli commandos. Gulen said it was partly the Turkish side's fault: the flotilla should not have defied Israel.
"Turkey, the US officials came to realize, could serve as a perfect 'proxy' since it was a NATO ally that shared the same language, culture, and religion as the other Central Asian countries. . . The only way to provide Gulen with sufficient funds to topple Turkey's secular regime and to conduct education jihad within the Russian republics came from the poppy fields of Afghanistan. . ." The IMF & AFRICOM Join Hands in Plunder of African Continent
January 6, 2012 — On a recent trip to West Africa, the newly appointed managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde ordered the governments of Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana and Chad to relinquish vital fuel subsidies. Much to the dismay of the population of these nations, the prices of fuel and transport have near tripled over night without notice, causing widespread violence on the streets of the Nigerian capital of Abuja and its economic center, Lagos. Much like the IMF induced riots in Indonesia during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, public discontent in Nigeria is channeled towards an incompetent and self-serving domestic elite, compliant to the interests of fraudulent foreign institutions.
Although Nigeria holds the most proven oil reserves in Africa behind Libya, it's people are now expected to pay a fee closer to what the average American pays for the cost of fuel, an exorbitant sum in contrast to its regional neighbours. Alternatively, other oil producing nations such as Venezuela, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia offer their populations fuel for as little as US$0.12 per gallon. While Lagos has one of Africa's highest concentration of billionaires, the vast majority of the population struggle daily on less than US$2.00. Amid a staggering 47% youth unemployment rate and thousands of annual deaths related to preventable diseases, the IMF has pulled the rug out from under a nation where safe drinking water is a luxury to around 80% of it's populace.
In the presence of US State Department Officials, employees from The Rand Corporation and Israeli military personnel, a military exercise was undertaken which tested how AFRICOM would respond to a disintegrating Nigeria on the verge of collapse amidst civil war. The scenario envisioned rebel factions vying for control of the Niger Delta oil fields (the source of one of America's top oil imports), which would potentially be secured by some 20,000 US troops if a US-friendly coup failed to take place. At a press conference at the House Armed Services Committee on March 13, 2008, AFRICOM Commander, General William Ward then went on to brazenly state the priority issue of America's growing dependence on African oil would be furthered by AFRICOM operating under the principle theatre-goal of "combating terrorism."
At an AFRICOM Conference held at Fort McNair on February 18, 2008, Vice Admiral Robert T. Moeller openly declared the guiding principle of AFRICOM was to protect "the free flow of natural resources from Africa to the global market," before citing China's increasing presence in the region as challenging to American interests. After the unwarranted snatch-and-grab regime change conducted in Libya, nurturing economic destabilization, civil unrest and sectarian conflict in Nigeria is an ultimately tangible effort to secure Africa's second largest oil reserves. During the pillage of Libya, its Sovereign Wealth Fund accounts worth over US$1.2 billion were frozen and essentially absorbed by Franco-Anglo-American powers; it would realistic to assume that much the same would occur if Nigeria failed to comply with Western interests. Comment: The "military exercise" has the appearance of a graphic threat by the terrorists. . . the same terrorists (alien to the African continent) who orchestrated the slaughter of Christians for which Boko Harem is blamed. Investors and representatives of governments of Israel and Austria recently gathered in Lagos to explore opportunities in Nigeria's energy and agricultural sector, at the instance of the International Strategic Alliance Committee (ISAC), a group of Nigerian professionals in Jewish Diaspora.
Recognizing the "Unpeople"
January 7, 2012 — On June 15, three months after the NATO bombing of Libya began, the African Union presented to the UN Security Council the African position on the attack—in reality, bombing by their traditional imperial aggressors: France and Britain, joined by the US, which initially coordinated the assault, and marginally some other nations. . . In fact, the triumvirate was quite isolated in its attacks—undertaken to eliminate the mercurial tyrant whom they had supported when it was advantageous. The hope was for a regime likelier to be amenable to Western demands for control over Libya's rich resources and, perhaps, to offer an African base for the US Africa command AFRICOM, so far confined to Stuttgart. . .
The African appeal can be found in the Indian journal Frontline, but was mostly unheard in the West. That comes as no surprise: Africans are "unpeople," to adapt George Orwell's term for those unfit to enter history. On March 12, the Arab League gained the status of people by supporting UN Resolution 1973. But approval soon faded when the League withheld support for the subsequent Western bombardment of Libya. And on April 10, the Arab League reverted to unpeople by calling on the UN also to impose a no-fly zone over Gaza and to lift the Israeli siege, virtually ignored. That too makes good sense. Western Oil Firms remain as US exits Iraq
January 7, 2012 — According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), Iraq's oil reserves of 112 billion barrels ranks second in the world, only behind Saudi Arabia. The EIA also estimates that up to 90 per cent of the country remains unexplored, due to decades of US-led wars and economic sanctions.
"Prior to the 2003 invasion and occupation of Iraq, US and other western oil companies were all but completely shut out of Iraq's oil market," oil industry analyst Antonia Juhasz told Al Jazeera. "But thanks to the invasion and occupation, the companies are now back inside Iraq and producing oil there for the first time since being forced out of the country in 1973". . .
Dr Abdulhay Yahya Zalloum, an international oil consultant and economist who has spent nearly 50 years in the oil business in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, agrees that western oil companies have "obtained concessions in Iraq's major [oil] fields", despite "there being a lack of transparency and clarity of vision regarding the legal issues. . . Regulators must stop covering for Bankrupt Banks
January 11, 2012 — The ongoing cover-up of the actual bankruptcy of Australia's major banks and financial institutions, by the regulators who are supposed to police those institutions, is a crime that must be stopped now . . . the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), had refused a Sydney Morning Herald FOI request to release its "risk registers" of Australia's leading financial institutions... Australia's other regulator, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), in 2005 threatened the CEC when its June 2005 New Citizen newspaper headlined "Mother of All Bubbles" reported how heavily Australia's banks were exposed to dangerous derivatives financial instruments—the very derivatives that later bankrupted Lehman Brothers and blew out the global financial system. . . the Sydney Morning Herald FOI request revealed that APRA didn't compile risk registers on the banks until after the GFC erupted in September 2008.
"The CEC's case proves the regulators were well and truly warned in advance. And they shouldn't try to hide behind the bureaucratic excuse that ASIC and APRA are different agencies—the CEC distributed 300,000 copies of that same New Citizen exposé nation-wide". . . since the globalisation "reforms" of Hawke and Keating, the Australian financial system has been exposed to the same legalised stealing by banks that has bankrupted the rest of the world, but the government, regulators and banks are trying to cover up the fact that Australia is in the same mess. . . Comment: The world is overcome by the philosophy of pragmatism that has infected both our educational and legal systems. Collectivism is not haphazard egalatarianism but centrally-controlled stratagem by the 'hidden hand' commonly known as Communism, the "spirit" that pervades the West. Jesus called it "Laodicea".
Be ready against the Third Day
Zechariah 14:6-7, "It shall come to pass in that day, that the Light shall not be clear, nor dark: but it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be Light".
Yes, in the day of the earthquake that cleaves the Mount of Olives "The Sun will be turned into darkness, and the Moon to blood" (Joel 2:10, 31; 3:15; Isaiah 13:10; 34:4; Amos 8:9; Zephaniah 1:14-16; Matthew 24:29; Acts 2:20; Revelation 6:12), so one will not know whether it is day or night. This unique day is known only to the Lord (Matthew 24:36; Acts 1:6-7) who has sent His promised "Elijah" with Light between the evenings to show us how we can escape the judgment (Amos 3:6-8). Between the evenings the world is crucifying the Son of God afresh unto themselves, ending the Gentile dispensation, but in that day God will pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh: a latter rain will empower Christ's end-time Bride for the 'third pull,' and a former rain will fall upon two Hebrew witnesses to enlighten the elect Israelites who "will be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand" (Daniel 12:10; Revelation 22:11).
Exodus 12:5-6, 10, "Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: and you shall keep it up until Nisan 14: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the evenings. . . And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning [Nisan 15]; and that which remains until the morning you shall burn with fire".
This is one of those places where the English word "evening" is taken from the Hebrew term beyn ha'arbayim, properly "between the two evenings" (Exodus 12:6; Leviticus 23:5; Numbers 9:3, 5). This Hebrew word describes the interval between the sun's commencing its decline after midday and its actual disappearance. This allows a sufficient period for the numerous lambs which had to be killed, and agrees with the traditional account that on the eve of the Passover the daily evening sacrifice was offered an hour, or, if it fell on a Friday, two hours, before the usual time (Alfred Edersheim, The Temple: Its Ministry and Services, p. 165). Josephus tells us that in the first century, before the destruction of the Temple, the Passover lambs were slaughtered "from the ninth hour till the eleventh" (Wars of the Jews, VI.9:3). This time corresponds to our 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Once darkness had fallen on Nisan 14, the [second] evening or night of Nisan 15 had begun, which was the first day of Unleavened Bread when the Passover meal was taken.
Abram and his men smote Chedorlaomer and the kings and the armies that were with him by night and recovered Lot, his nephew and his fellow captives with their goods. The five kings recorded in Genesis 14:1 were from Shinar (Babel), Ellasar (Media), Elam (Persia/Iran), and Tidal, king of the nations (called Assyrians) "kings of the East." (According to Ezekiel 38 and 39, and Revelation 16:12-16 the "kings of the East . . . and of the whole world [under the demonic spirits of Judaeo-Catholicism and Judaeo-Communism]" are being gathered together to Armageddon). The following evening Melchisedek, King of Jerusalem that is Above—God manifest in created flesh before the virgin birth—brought bread and wine and served Abram a type of the Lord's Supper (Hebrews 7:1-7). After these things the Word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision and the Lord said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars" (Genesis 15:5). It was dark. Israel's Passover takes place in that period of dim light before it becomes dark. That is the time that we, in obedience, observe the Lord's Supper, just as the sun goes down as at the opening of Genesis 15, for when one can see the stars, it is dark.
Beyn ha'arbayim takes place as Nisan 14 is ending, and then Nisan 15, the [second] evening and day of unleavened bread begins. This is undoubtedly when Melchizedek brought forth the bread and wine, Abram's vision followed on Nisan 15, when it was dark and the stars were out. We observe the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Jesus Messiah, to proclaim the Lord's death till His 'erchomai' or physical return (I Corinthians 11:25-26).
Exodus 12:40-41, "Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt".
So the Exodus occurred precisely four hundred and thirty years to the day after the Lord God's promise to Abram in the evening of Nisan 15: "This [Eliezer] shall not be your heir; your own son will be your heir. And He brought him outside, and said, Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you be able. Then He said, So shall your descendants be. . . And as the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram; and a horror of great darkness took hold of him. And God said to Abram, Know of a surety that your descendants will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and serve them; and they will afflict them four hundred years" (Genesis 15:4-5, 12-13).
Without a shadow of doubt Israel is God's timepiece. From the birth of Abraham to the Exodus and the birth of the Nation of Israel, was 490 years. From Exodus to the foundation of the Temple was 490 years. From the Dedication of the Temple to Nehemiah's return in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes was 490 years; likewise from Nehemiah's return to the "cutting off of Messiah the Prince" and the birth of Israel in one day was 483 years, minus the Gentile dispensation plus one week of seven years will be 490 years (Daniel 9:24-27; Isaiah 66:8).
The Crucifixion took place on Nisan 14. Matthew 27:45-46, "From the sixth hour [9.00am to 12 midday] there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour [12.00 to 3.00pm]. And about the ninth hour [midday] Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Imagine this innocent and sinless Man, His head wounded with thorns, His body lacerated by flogging, His face slapped and spat upon, exhausted through carrying His cross to which he was nailed, naked for up to four hours and mocked by a pitiless crowd, voluntarily paying sin's price as our kinsman Redeemer. "With shoutings, we cry, Grace, grace to the Capstone"! 
April 6 is not far off, and having looked at future calendars, "Good Friday" will next align with Nisan 14 in 2015 and 2016. However I believe the Hebrew Passover according to their calendar is a more appropriate consideration than the Judaeo-Roman Catholic or Gregorian calculations for "Good Friday." April 6, 2012 will witness a full orbed Passover moon, which is the time of life and the anniversary of our Lord's trial and crucifixion, while in 2012 it will be forty-nine years since 1963 when our Lord descended upon Sunset mountain and therefore the year of Jubilee, and according to the inaccurate Gregorian calendar, approximately 2000 years since our Lord Jesus began his ministry "when he was twelve years old . . . in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions" (Luke 2:41-46).
Whenever the Gentile dispensation ends, "we are not in darkness that that day should overtake us as a thief": those who are in Christ have been in the rapture since their revelation of the Seven Seals (I Thessalonians 5:4). By God's grace we have received the evening time Light, making us the "lively stones" of new Jerusalem in this end-time (Revelation 21:2). Isaiah 60:1-2: "Arise [new Jerusalem], be enlightened; for Your Light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you".
Paul prayed, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty [resurrection] power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead" (Ephesians 1:17-20). Now we are, growing to maturity for the manifestation of the Sons of God during the resurrection of the sleeping saints, followed by our translation.
As worldly children we sang, "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me!" Now, as the children of God we hold to the promises and power of God's unfailing Word as "the whole armour of God" and our sole defence (Ephesians 6:10-18), and "the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God" our sole weapon of offense. Jesus Messiah is our example, a Man who did not fear the self-styled Jews' psychological warfare we know as political correctness, and did not shun to offend such hypocrites by declaring the Word of God.
Matthew 21:1-9, "As Jesus and His disciples approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, He sent two of them to the village. As you enter you will find an ass tied and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them here. If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, The Lord has need of them; and he will send them immediately. This was done to fulfill the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9, Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, meek, and mounted on a donkey, and on a donkey's colt."
"They brought the animals to Him and threw their garments over the colt for Him to ride. Some in the crowd cast down their garments along the road ahead of Him; others cut down branches from the trees, and spread them out before Him. And the multitudes surged on before, and pressed along behind, shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest"!
"Hosanna" means 'Save now, we beseech you'! These people knew this was the hour in which Messiah should appear, and recognized the fulfillment, but mislead by their priests and rabbis who were following the perverse teachings of the Talmud, they were looking for the first Coming according to Scripture for the third Coming. Whereas they ought to have sought Messiah as the sacrificial Lamb in the prophetic office Son of Man, they greeted Him in the office of Son of David, which He will not assume till the Millennium. Even so, denominational Christians know this is the hour in which Messiah should reappear, but misled by their ministers following the educated guesses of educated men, and not believing in prophets or following false prophets, they are looking for His second or 'parousia' Coming according to Scriptures pertaining to His third Coming. Whereas they ought to be seeking the Coming of the Son of man in W_O_R_D form, they are anticipating His second or 'erchomai' return as the Son of David in glorified flesh.
He came riding lowly and meek on the foal of an ass, and when He comes as the Mighty Conqueror riding a white horse with the armies of the saints on white horses, He will still be in the office of Son of man, King of kings and Judge in the revelation of His second or 'parousia' Coming to Israel, for this is not the physical return of the glorified Son of David, as His precious feet will not touch this earth until He returns with the glorified saints after the consummation by atomic fire (Isaiah 13:9; Malachi 4:1-3; Matthew 3:12; II Thessalonians 1:8-10). Isaiah 63:4, "For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed is come".
Speaking of mountaintop experiences, shadows of judgment and the resurrection, Brother Branham mentioned Sinai where the Lord came down upon the mountain and after three days brought Israel from grace to the curse of the Law of sin and death because of their unbelief. He then recounted his own mountaintop experiences: "I left here [Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, Indiana] by a vision to go yonder to Tucson to see what the Lord wanted me to do. There He met me up there, as He told you here [in my sermon, "Is this the Time of the End, Sir" on December 30, 1962] that He would do it, and the form of seven angels, and said to return back and the Seven Seals was to be opened. That's just exactly what happened [on March 9 or 10, 1963]."
That day on Sunset mountain the Seven Seals opened as "a blast went off like an earthquake" and he was caught up into a constellation of the theophanies of the seven angels to the Church Ages, represented in the Old Testament as seraphim or incense burners who offer the revelation or prayers of the saints to the Lord (Revelation 8:1-5; 4:1-5; 6:1). The Lord told him to return to his Church in Jeffersonville where the mystery of the Seven Thunders would be revealed, ending the Laodicean Church Age and Christ's mediation in the office of Son of God, to indict the world church system and bring the world to judgment in the office of Son of man (Revelation 18:4; 10:1-7; Matthew 25:6; I Thessalonians 4:16; John 5:27). 
One year later, on March 25, 1964 which was Nisan 12 He said, "one day with Brother Wood when he come out there, we went to the same place [Sunset mountain], and "throw up a rock," it come down. He said, "Within a day and night, you're. . . going to see the glory of God. And the next day a whirlwind came down out of the skies, and we know the story of what taken place. When it went up, they asked what it was. I said, "It spoke three words, in three great blasts." The men only heard the blasting. I understood what It said. And said, "Judgment striking West Coast." Two days after that [March 27, 1964, that is Nisan 14], Alaska like to have sunk. It's been thundering around, earthquakes, everything. Just look at them, every day earthquakes just shaking everywhere. . ."
Since that earthquake, there is a two or three-inch crack that come in the earth, starting in Alaska, goes around through the Aleutian Islands, comes out about a hundred and fifty or two hundred miles in the sea, comes back up at San Diego; takes in California, or Los Angeles, and comes out again just below the northern part of California there, a little place called San Jose, just below there" (Ashamed, p. 7:44-47, 53).
At the Lord's command the Prophet spoke this 9.2 magnitude Good Friday earthquake—the most powerful in America's history in token of a vastly more powerful Good Friday earthquake that will sink Los Angeles at the close of the Gentile dispensation.
He mentioned Christ's crucifixion and the resurrection of the Old Testament saints on the third day after the earthquake, which types the beginning of the resurrection of the sleeping Church Age saints while Christ's end-time Bride manifests that we are the Sons of God—two loaves baked with leaven will be waved before the Lord (Leviticus 23:16-21). Brother Branham said, "I believe between 6.00 and 9.00 o'clock some morning" (The Rapture, p. 26:127-130).
Exodus 19:11, 16-18, "Be ready against the third day [which was the fiftieth day of the Pentecostal feast]: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people. . . And on the morning [that is, between 6.00am and 9.00am] of the third day there were thunders and lightnings, a thick cloud upon the mountain, and an exceedingly loud trumpet blast, so that all who were in the camp trembled. Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the foot of the mountain. And mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in Fire: and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly".
In his Message, "What is the Attraction on the Mountain," Brother Branham said, "What is the attraction? God, as usual, fulfilling His Word. He's fulfilling the Word of Zechariah again, of prophet Zechariah, where I read the 9th verse awhile ago, when Jesus entered Jerusalem, riding on a little white donkey, the prophecy was fulfilled that Zechariah said, here it is, "Rejoice greatly, O daughters of Zion. Shout, O daughters of Jerusalem. Behold, thy King is coming unto thee; He is just, and having salvation; lowly, riding upon an ass, and upon the colt the foal of an ass." That's what the attraction was at Jerusalem, at the religious headquarters. . . And they didn't recognize It. Now, what is it today? Zechariah 14, speaking of His Coming:
"And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives again, which is before Jerusalem on the east, on the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof towards the east and towards the west, and there shall be a very great valley; . . . half of the mountain shall be moved towards the north, and half. . . towards the south."
"And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountain; for the valley of the mountain shall reach from Azal [separation]: yea, ye shall flee, like you fled in the days of the earthquake in the days of Uzziah the king of Judah. . ."
Another earthquake splitting open the earth! If you want to follow out a Scripture here, notice in this 5th verse, it applies that the cleaving of the Mount of Olives is due to an earthquake, and this is confirmed by Isaiah 29:6 and Revelation 16:19. Exactly! What is it? The same prophet told of His first coming, seen His second Coming! Notice, "As in the days of the earthquake." See what the earthquakes are doing, see the predictions of them?
". . . and the Lord your God shall come, and all of His saints with thee [(Mark 8:38; I Thessalonians 4:14; Jude 14-15)]. And it shall come to pass in that day, (Hallelujah!) in that day, that the light shall not be clear, or dark: But it shall be one day with. . . one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that in the evening time it shall be light." (O God)!
"It shall be Light about the evening time," same prophet. And the people is blind! What's the attraction? Let's read a couple more verses:
"And it shall be in that day, that the living waters shall go forth from Jerusalem; half of them towards the former sea, and half. . . towards the hinder sea: in the summer and. . . winter shall it be. (The Gospel going forth both Jew and Gentile). And the Lord shall be King over. . . the earth: in that day and there shall be one Lord, and His Name one" (p. 15:94-98).
Brother Branham's Message is our former rain, but Joel 2:23 prophesied that in the time of our latter rain there would be a former rain to Israel "in the first month," which is Nisan. The Hebrew day commences in the evening, while our day commences in the morning, and the rapture is universal. On one side of the world men will be working in the field while on the other side men will be sleeping (Matthew 24:39-42).
Hosea 6:1-3, "Come, and let us return to the Lord: for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."
Hosea was prophesying to the Northern Kingdom of Israel in 780BC, today in 2012AD we are 2791 years into the third day of a thousand years (II Peter 3:8), and the Lord finishes dealing with the Church before He turns to Israel, so let us be ready against the third day, for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon the mount of Olives. nl718.htm

Brother Branham said, "There'll be plenty of room in the new earth. . . It'll be renovated by fire, but there'll be no more sea. The explosion dries up the sea, erupts the earth. Oh, my, and remember fifteen hundred miles square. What a City. But remember the sea is gone. . . In the earth's time of purifying by its baptism of fire, there will be volcanics, such as this earth exploding, and will push up a pyramid-like mountain. Plenty of room to do it; this whole thing'll be changed; the whole surface will be changed. You got it? It'll push up a pyramid-like mountain. This would exactly be with the Word if it does it, which it will. . . if you have a one dollar bill, they have the seal of the United States, the eagle on one end, a-holding the spears, the coat of arms, as it were. And on the other end, it's got the pyramid with the all-seeing eye on top of it. See, they didn't know what they were doing. And on there it's wrote in Latin, and you'll find out it says, "This is the Great Seal. They didn't know what they were doing. Neither did Caiaphas know he was prophesying. There's the Great Seal. Here it is. See? The City, it's not just a flat cube like this, but it leans up so it can be seen. And upon this holy mountain of the Lord, the Lord shall descend upon top of His mountain. Here He is. That's the reason the Capstone wasn't put on by Enoch. See? That's the reason the Capstone has to come now. And the mountain will be pushed up and it'll be the mount of the Lord and in here will dwell the redeemed" (The Future Home of the Heavenly Bridegroom and the Earthly Groom, p. 44:364, 369, 380, 411-412).
